  Twain Importer 3.1 has been released!
  TWAIN Importer 3.1 provides new capabilities and enhancement features that help individuals or organizations reduce their processing and testing costs. Using version 3.1 you can create a list of images which should be imported from file system. Now you can preview images before scan and exclude individual pages from multipage documents. New version can automatically align resolution if image has different X and Y resolutions (Fax machines often produce such type of images). Also from version 3.1 TwainImporter can be used in Citrix environment.

  Twain Importer 2.4 has been released!
  Twain Importer 2.4 provides new capabilities and enhancement features to help individuals or organizations reduce their processing and testing costs. Twain Importer 2.4 can be used with Kofax VRS to improve image quality. For developers and QA engineers this version provides many new Twain capabilities that allow emulate real scanner. Twain Importer 2.4 enhancements include:
  1. Always show UI - This option is enabled by default so even if your Twain application does not show Twain configuration UI you will see Twain Importer configuration dialog. You can always switch it off.
  2. Image Enhancement Rotate. You can rotate images as you want during importing.
  3. Additional capabilities. There are many new Twain capabilities in this version. This allows better emulate a real hardware scanner and use Twain Importer for testing your Twain application more efficiently.
  4. "Emulate Real Scanner" option allows using Twain Importer with Kofax VRS.

Twain Importer - virtual Twain driver for importing files

Twain Importer is a virtual Twain Driver that can be helpful form MFP or MFD users. And also can simplify life for twain developers: unit testing and nightly E2E testing never was so easy and productive.

ScanStream is powerful scanning application that works in a browser. It supports a lot of features out of the box and flexible architecture allows to cover almost any request. ScanWorks Software team has a big experience in building different capture systems and always is glad to share this experience.

ScanStream Fast Facts

Using ScanStream you reduce deployment and support efforts required by usual desktop scan applications. At the same time ScanStream will cover all your needs in documents capture.

Scanning using high speed ISIS interface allows to get benefits of using all the latest scanner features and provides flexibility using any ISIS compatible scanner (more than 300 models of scanners). Your employees do not need to be guru in scanning to use ScanStream because all scan configurations can be done by your IT professionals and saved on server. You just need to pick up appropriate Batch Template and start scanning.

Batch Template includes all necessary information to capture page sets, enhance images and organize scanned pages into documents.

After scanning you can annotate pages and enhance them using image processing filters.

As well you can add index information to different document levels: batch, documents and pages.

Final document can be exported either into a local folder or using custom exporter into your ECM system.
