Scanning is very easy. Instructions below will describe this process with all details.

 

1. Where to start

As you installed SharedScanner and RemoteTwain driver you can scan remotely.

Start your favorite scan application and select RemoteTwain driver as it is shown on screenshot below

 

 

 

2. Starting scan

Initiate scanning from the application and RemoteTwain configuration dialog will be shown

 

 

Enter IP address or computer name in the appropriate field and press "Connect" button. It will usually take about 3-5 seconds to connect to SharedScanner and get scanner settings. Please see detailed information about scanner configuration in "Scanner settings" topic.

 

 

When you press "Scan" button scanning will start and progress dialog will be shown.
