ScanStream Professional Features

General
Browser based	Browser based application can be easier integrated into your BPM or ECM system. Various Internet Explorer versions are supported.
Auto update	ScanStream can be automatically updated to the latest version at the moment user starts working with application. This leads to easy support and maintainability. All your company employees will use most current version without any efforts.
File formats	All popular file formats are supported: PDF, TIFF, Jpeg 2000, JPEG, Bitmap, JBIG.
Offline work	ScanStream does not require constant internet connection. You can copy it to hard disk and use offline as normal desktop application.
Scanning
ISIS	ISIS scanner interface from EMC guarantees that the application works with ISIS compatible scanner (more than 300 models) correctly and without errors.
Performance	Despite ScanStream is web based application you can scan documents with scanner speed.
Batch Templates	Scan process can be defined according to your corporate standards and policies. Everybody can use these predefined templates or own to scan documents intelligently.
Image processing	Image enhancements allow saving time and keep the best quality of any document.
Document Management	Pages will be organized in documents automatically according to set of rules. You can setup blank page, software or hardware barcode or another hardware separators to do this.
Importing images	It is possible to use one workflow for both: scanning from hardware scanner or importing existing images from disk.
Viewing
Page Thumbnails	Jump right to the page you need without navigating the entire document. Split or organize document with drag'n'drop operation.
Scaling	Easy way to zoom in/out image. Pan window allows to navigate page of any size.
Rotation/Mirroring	Just click to rotate page as you want.
Printing	Print selected page.
Integration
Exporters	Common exporter interface allows creating export process into any BPM or ECM system without changing ScanStream code. Built-in FTP exporter allows to use ScanStream as distributed capture solution right from the box.
Index	Flexible built-in indexing functionality allows creating and filling index forms within browser. Indexing results will be saved in XML format which can be easy used by BPM or ECM system.
Document Naming	During exporting files will be named automatically according to naming schema.
Server
No special server	ScanStream Professional does not require to install any server side software. No Tomcat, ASP.NET or anything else.
Server templates	Administrator can upload common templates for scanning and indexing on server and they will be available for all users.
Synchronization	Common templates can be synchronized from server with just one click.
Annotating
Image Annotations	Enhance or redact images with full featured set of annotations: text, arrows, redact, highlight, popup, stamp.
Merging	Annotations can be merged with an original image
Indexing
Index Templates	Either create your own Index Templates or download them from the central location.
Auto indexing	ScanStream can fill index fields with detected barcodes values automatically.
Index fields	Indexing supports all major types of components like lists, checkboxes, combo boxes, edits, etc.
